Recently, we participated in several events across Munster, including MTU Cork Open Days, IGC Kerry Careers at the MTU Kerry Sports Academy, and STEM South West Expo 2023 in Cork City Hall, which provided us with an excellent opportunity to promote supply chain and logistics careers, including growing in popularity nationwide our own Logistics Associate Apprenticeship.
During these events and with the support of LAA’s collaboration and education partner, Munster Technological University in Cork, and colleagues from the Faculty of Engineering, many discussions were held with TY and leaving cert students in the southwest region about career paths offered by the industry.
We are delighted to have been invited to participate and look forward to many more such events to support the industry’s efforts in attracting new talent, and spreading awareness of the exciting and rewarding careers offered by the logistics and supply chain sector to the general public, schools, and career guidance teachers across the country.
