Our two year programme provides a unique opportunity for you to learn about the logistics sector and gain new skills and valuable experience by working across different departments and functions at DPD Ireland. You will get the opportunity to be involved in projects, spend time with
those in key management roles, and be supported in developing and progressing your long term career.
Throughout the apprenticeship programme you will have access to an experienced mentor from our senior management team who will provide support and guidance and share their extensive knowledge and expertise with you.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, depots and relevant stakeholders
- Proactively contribute to the work of your team and department
- Take opportunities to learn new skills and gain experience in each department
- Receive feedback positively and implement development objectives
- Attend and participate in weekly lectures with the Technology University Dublin
- Complete assignments, assessments and learning activities required by TU Dublin and DPD Ireland
- Maintain a reflective log of your work based experience and skills development
- Attend regular progress review meetings with your mentor

Applicant must meet one of the LAA programme entry criteria:
- H7/O6 or above in five leaving certificate (or equivalent) subjects. A minimum of grade O6 must be obtained in English. A minimum of grade O6 or a B2 or above in Foundation level must be obtained in mathematics
- Holders of a QQI Level 5 or Level 6 (or equivalent) in cognate areas (e.g. business, logistics and distribution, supply chain management, etc
- Applicants may also be eligible to become apprentices via Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
