Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Logistics Intern to join our dynamic logistics team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the logistics and supply chain industry. The intern will assist with various logistical tasks, support the team in daily operations, and gain valuable insights into logistics management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customs Brokerage: Support in issuing customs clearances for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Shipment Coordination: Assist in coordinating and scheduling shipments with carriers and logistics partners.
- Documentation: Aid in the preparation and management of shipping and receiving documents.
- Data Entry: Input and maintain accurate data in logistics systems and databases.
- Customer Service: Assist in handling customer inquiries related to shipping and delivery.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on logistics performance and key metrics.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Pass Leaving Certificate
- Experience: Prior internship or work experience in logistics or supply chain is a
plus but not required.

Applicant must meet one of the LAA programme entry criteria:
- H7/O6 or above in five leaving certificate (or equivalent) subjects. A minimum of grade O6 must be obtained in English. A minimum of grade O6 or a B2 or above in Foundation level must be obtained in mathematics
- Holders of a QQI Level 5 or Level 6 (or equivalent) in cognate areas (e.g. business, logistics, and distribution, supply chain management, etc)
- Applicants may also be eligible to become apprentices via Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). for a permanent position with the company.
