Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Transport Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in logistics. You will support daily operations by organising drivers, coordinating schedules, and communicating with customers to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule drivers for daily transport operations
- Communicate with drivers regarding routes, timings, and updates
- Act as a point of contact for customers, handling queries and providing updates
- Monitor delivery progress and resolve any issues that arise
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, schedules, and communications
- Support the operations team with general administrative tasks

- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, etc.)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail

Applicant must meet one of the LAA programme entry criteria:
- H7/O6 or above in five leaving certificate (or equivalent) subjects. A minimum of grade O6 must be obtained in English. A minimum of grade O6 or a B2 or above in Foundation level must be obtained in mathematics.
- Holders of a QQI Level 5 or Level 6 (or equivalent) in cognate areas (e.g. business, logistics and distribution, supply chain management, etc
- Applicants may also be eligible to become apprentices via Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Fluent English is required
Applicants must be based in Ireland and hold a visa that permits full-time employment in Ireland.
