“A mentor is a more experienced individual willing to share knowledge with someone less experienced in a relationship of mutual trust” – David Clutterbuck
The Mentor/Mentee Relationship.
The relationship between Mentor and Mentee is a professional relationship.
The role of mentor is as a trusted guide who can help the Mentee to navigate their way through their department, company, networks, culture, industry etc.
The mentoring relationship is one built on trust and rapport. The Mentor will have great listening skills.
